Dr. James Lee Jr. is the president/CEO of Ascension Behavioral Healthcare in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He has been in private practice for ten years, specializing in general adult psychiatry. He is a graduate of Morehouse College and Meharry Medical College. After graduating from medical school, he completed his residency in general adult psychiatry at the University of South Carolina/Palmetto Health Alliance. He later completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at Tulane University.  Currently, in addition to being in private practice, he serves as medical director for Standards-Based Solutions, a mental health agency in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He also serves on the faculty of Edward C. Via Osteopathic School of Medicine as an associate professor in the department of psychiatry and as a contract psychiatrist for Winthrop University. Dr. Lee is board certified, and since 2013, he has been a credentialed provider for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), an FDA-approved treatment for depression since 2008.
